The Most Effective Way to Increase your 1:1 Business Revenue and Start Scaling

If I told you to create something today that will continue to bring in money for years to come, would you be opposed? I really hope not, because you would be missing out on what is soon to be a $300+ Billion-dollar opportunity. Yep… that is Billion with a B!

In the past decade, there has been a consistent upward trend in the online business market. Said trend is all about bottling up the knowledge you already have and selling it over and over again without needing to recreate the wheel. We are talking about E-Learning.

Although you may have never considered it, creating a digital course (or even digital products - think downloadables, ebooks, etc.) to complement your business, can open up a world of opportunity by adding a new and scalable source of income to what you’re already making.  We all know that time is the most valuable resource we have and as a service provider, coach or consultant, your ability to scale is directly correlated to the number of hours in a day.

So, let’s stop focusing on trading time for money. Shall we?

Creating a course allows you to expand your reach by creating an offering that allows you to share your expertise with hundreds and even thousands of new prospects, without depleting any more of your valuable time.

This is why I almost always suggest to all my clients that they consider adding digital products to their business.

Personally, I’ve been working as a full-time freelance writer and digital marketing specialist for the last year and a half, and I can tell you from experience that serving clients at a high level can be extremely difficult to manage. I find myself often putting all my resources and energy into building up their businesses, that by the time I get around to mine, I am on empty with nothing more to give.

So, what does that look like practically? Well, when things are “normal…”

…and I do mean pre-COVID days here…

…I wake up at 6 am, get my kids ready for school, drive them 30+ minutes one way to school, drop them off, and finally get back home and sit down at my desk by 9 am.

At that point I start checking emails, working on projects, and communicating with clients. I spend my entire workday pounding out work before the time comes again to go get the kids.

It’s an endless cycle.  One that I can only scale in three ways…

  1. Increase my pricing.
  2. Hire out 1099s, essentially becoming a mini agency.
  3. Bottle up my systems and knowledge and start selling that on autopilot.

Which one of those sounds the most appealing to you?

For me, it’s hands down #3!

I’ve had my sights set on creating my own digital products for over a year now, and I have personally invested in courses that have taught me the systems I need to do just that.

Even though my process has been a slow one, due mostly to working behind the scenes helping other business owners launch their own, there are entrepreneurs like you and me getting their own courses up and running in a matter of weeks.

The time you take to start implementing a digital course is up to you. There is no time frame or deadline on when you have to get it done, but now is PRIME TIME to start thinking about it. The e-learning industry is already worth well over $100 Billion… hitting $107 Billion back in 2015… FIVE years ago! And it’s projected to grow to $325 Billion by 2025.
